The launch of ViRAL Residential
Feb 02, 2022
Bringing the world back to those who need it most.
ViRAL Entertainment… a family-run, VR business in the centre of Corby. But things don’t stop there. We’re out to change the world as we know it.
ViRAL Entertainment are known for taking social engagement to the next level. Whether it be the joy of bringing families and friends together, making an impact with disability groups, or providing a new lease of life for the elderly, we have, and will continue to make an impact on the lives of people through the power of VR.
That’s why we’ve taken our business one step further and launched ViRAL Residential, a strand of our business that will allow us to take VR into care homes around the country.
“I’ve just had the most fascinating experience that I’ve ever had. The gorillas were lovely, and you felt like you were there with them.” - Shirley, Dementia Days.
An emotional start
The tipping point to us kick-starting ViRAL Residential was after providing a mind-blowing experience for two wonderful ladies from Dementia Days, a local business in Northamptonshire that provides support and community to those who suffer with dementia.
Business owner Hayley bought in Brenda and Shirley to experience VR in a private, 1 on 1 setting.
Shirley was so overjoyed, she was reduced to tears when she came out of the headset. She told us that she had always loved Gorillas, so what did we do? We took her to the zoo to see some!
Motivation to do more
We are extremely proud to have made this happen. VR is changing the world around us as we know it. Don’t believe us?
Television did it.
The Internet did it.
The Smartphone did it.
Social media did it.
And how many, out of those 4, do you use every day? If you say less than two, we’ll struggle to believe you.
Our goal is to create unforgettable memories that will have a huge impact for the elderly, and residents in care homes. We'll stop at nothing to continue to achieve just that.
Go on... take the leap.
Not for you, but for your Grandma, your care home patient, or the man across the street.
It's thanks to people's continued support of ViRAL and the VR industry, that we can continue to do what we love and make a difference to people like this. Let us make the most of this!
If you think you know anyone or any care home that will benefit from VR experiences this like, please fill out the form and get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
